Regine - or slave no. 348, as she now is, is working with the sweat  running down her back, and her whole body is aching. 

The hammer is heavy and she is forced to swing it onto the logs several times, before they split. 

After chopping a load she has to fill the basked carefully, so it will hold
the 25 kilos of wood demanded

Oh - I am so tired, hot and thirsty.

I must continue, if I don`t complete 40 baskets of wood before nightfall,

I will be punished.                                                       "No. 348 - What are you doing?"

Oh - It`s heavy, and I have to sit like this, until the transport girls come and empty it.
